Refresh the orphans program

Refresh the Orphan Project is a special Annual Project that Clothe The Naked Outreach undertakes to bridge the gap between orphans in orphanages and the general public. The event is basically about visiting orphans in different orphanages with clothes to clothe them, games and live band music to entertain them, food and drinks to feed them, and motivational speakers and counselors to advise and inspire them, and a Medical Team to screen their health. The ultimate goal of the project is to show love and care for orphans and abandoned children, put smiles on their faces and boost their hopes and confidence in life.

The CTN SCHOLARSHIP AID funds the education of orphans, abandoned children, and children from poor families in the deprived communities of Ghana, West Africa. This Scholarship Aid focuses on less-privileged children who may never get the opportunity to go to school for lack of financial support, and may remain illiterate without the intervention of a charitable organization like Clothe The Naked Outreach. The Aid funds the formal education of carefully selected children from basic school to college/university.

Clothe The Naked Outreach is currently providing financial support for the education of fourteen (14) less-privileged children of Ghana, West Africa. With a goal to extend this opportunity to at least one hundred carefully selected needy (100) children in Ghana at a time. Beneficiaries of the CTN Scholarship Aid receive financial support which covers School Fees, Stationary, School uniforms, school bags, and foot wears, school feeding fees or pocket money, hostel fees, and all other things needed for a successful formal education, from basic school to tertiary.

This project helps us to redistribute clothing resources to fulfill our mission of reducing the physical impact of poverty which is commonly seen in the wearing of same old and tattered clothes all the time by less-privileged people in the deprived communities, especially the rural areas of Ghana. Clothe The Naked is building a school for the children of a deprived rural community called Dwen Daama, in the Central Region of Ghana. This community has over 50 children below 10 years but there is no school in the community - the closest school to Dwen Daama is about 10 kilometers away in another community.

Clothe The Naked Outreach has secured a 2-acre land in Dwen Daama for the construction of a school for the community. Our school will provide a tuition-free education which will also provide free uniforms, free stationary, and all other needed things, for our students.

The purpose of this project is to make education accessible to the children of Dwen Daama and its surrounding villages, and boost motivation for education among the children and parents of the community, in pursuance of our mission to empower the less-privileged people of Ghana for a better future.
